They are all lovely!  Crystals are everywhere we look, even in the ice cream container in the freezer, when the ice cream lid has been left a bit open. Smiley

Scott, I really think photography is a serious calling of yours.
The vapor pic would make a beautiful black & white print.
I had to look at the praying mantis today for a laugh! That cracks me up! Thanks!

A spirit drifted in around the fire and I was lucky enough to capture it.

Or it's a weird creepy long exposure I took of myself moving around the dim fire.   Huh

Stellar! How did you do that! Do you know how many times I have tried to take that picture! I love it!
The next one is cool. When I first saw it, my mind saw it as something huge and far away. In that way, your head looked like something in the sky - so I didn't see it as a head. Squint yer eyes and glance at it and try it!  Cheesy

The first shot is using a wide angle lense 11 - 16mm, F 2.8, and a 25 second exposure time.

The second shot is a 15 second exposure time.

Airplane or satellite, most likely an airplane since it's so bright and appears to have flashing lights the way the tail is not a continuous line.

So sweet! Somebody is in love! Didn't I see a reference to "fiance" somewhere? Congratulations Scott! She is very very lucky!

Really like the Uwharrie night picture, nice tones there.

Here's a juvenile Cooper's Hawk that passed through the yard recently.

Very awesome little birdie! I finally saw an owl -out in the wild - free! I have been wanting to for years! They are so dang elusive...and it was as thrilling as I thought it was going to be! It was a juvenile Great Horned. He/she didn't have their little tufts sticking up yet. They did their super swift head rotation while watching deer run away from the sound of my car - at least three times. Just watching and learning! My what big eyes!
Unbelievably (to me), there are people that are able to catch them and tag them. They must be some sort of ninja- owl-whisperer- masters.
