Here's a little storm I watched go by my window the other night.  Pardon the amateur quality, I'm still learning the ins and outs of timelapse photography.

A couple deer I saw yesterday who seemed way more interested in the people that were walking along the road several hundred yards back than my subaru idling right next to them.

Great Shoot, Scott.  I wish I had your "eye".  I love photography, but do not have your talent.

Not as much nature here, but I didn't know where else to put this.

Mark -- expelling pent up energy as anticipation for the next days dig grew too much.

They found water on Mars!!! -- (see right side of picture)

No, actually it's a water eroded ditch at a construction site.   Tongue

Here's an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly that was kind enough to allow this close shot. We spotted a swarm of butterflies along a nature path at the Moravian Falls campground in Wilkes County, NC this weekend. They were so into these flowers that they didn't even fly away when my wife reached out to touch them. I used the website discoverlife.org to identify it. http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?guide=Butterflies

If you ever want to identify anything that's alive check it out:  http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q

And of course I've added the Moravian Falls. No swimming in the falls, but you can up above the falls and below them on the campgrounds.
