Not much to talk about but as I always say, when I'm finding crystals I'm happy.  These were found within a fissure I found that was roughly 5 feet (1.5 meters) long and 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.  I found much more material than what is shown in the picture, but I gathered select specimens from the finds to photograph.  There were numerous small 1 inch+ crystals with a slight smoky color.

Yes, any day digging is a good day; finds or not...but finding is better! 
Also, thanks for illustrating the reality of this wondrous hobby (addiction); and that you aren't always finding those incredibly beautiful smokys and tessins and such! Not that these aren't fun to find and pretty too -just different. I have decided that, like people, you can't really compare specimens.
