Rutilated Stars

I don't usually collect Brazilian material because there's just
so dang much of it, but when I saw this little cluster,
the golden rutilated star against the heavily chlorite included
background, it caught my eye.
I just liked the formation of the Starburst of Rutile. Smiley

So I hope you don't mind if I share too many pics of me
playing around with this piece. Roll Eyes
First pic is the whole cluster and then some close-ups.

And I tried to get some shots of the chlorite, without much
success I'm afraid.
The red and white in with the green of the chlorite is very
pretty, but hard to get a good shot of.

I finally had some time to clean up some rocks and was in my box from reel mine and found a piece of clear quartz that is fairly heavily included with "golden" rutile.  I will post some pictures of it once the Iron Out has worked it's magic.

That piece has got to have soaked long enough by now,RR. Wink
If you can take some pics of it I would love to see it.
Rutile is not reel common from the Reel.

Thanks for the pic, RR. That's a hard piece to get a good
picture of. I'd still like to take a closer look at it.
Bring it with you Saturday if you can.
Thanks,  Joe
