Yes, that is an interesting technology and an interesting
alternative, Mark. It might be a little expensive unless you
know what you're going for will be worth it. Also, those core
drill bits aren't cheap either.
But that is a good idea and is a good beginning to a thread on
alternatives to explosives. There are some other interesting
alternatives out there and this would be a good place to
post information about them.

Thanks,
Joe

Not sure if Rental Center has these, but it might be just the ticket for that deadpan.....
Jackhammer experience I've had, bigger is not better in the case of jackhammers. Rented one that had a trailer mounted power system, after a Saturday of using it, I had to be off work for almost a week to recover! I give a lot of credit to guys that operate those things on a daily basis.
Those newer compact self-contained units are nice. My advice is get the smallest one that will do the job!  Or as in my case I bought big backhoe.  You guys probably already are experienced with jackhammers, but just in case you weren't I thought my experience might save you some pain.

I hope humor is O.K. on here as in the attached photo???

Smiley Thanks for the heads-up about the "ease" of using
jackhammers, hurricane.

I've seen that pic before. Pretty awesome!
And humor is always welcome. Just can't say for sure that
everyone on this board will "get it". Wink
(See now, that was supposed to be a joke. Grin)
