Help with Field Trips

I have been assigned the office (read railroaded) of Field Trip Coordinator for our club (Gaston Gem, Mineral and Faceters Club).  This is a job that I am uniquely unsuited for. The previous coordinator passed on no contact information for any of the past field trips.  I am familiar with several good sites in the area but have very few contact names/numbers.  Since I work 60+ hours a week, I don't have the time to go to the sites first and knock on doors to find the owners. If anyone could message or e-mail with any information for the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia or Virginia areas to help me kick start this project, I would really appreciate it.  My e-mail address is NCGrampa@gmail.com.  Thanks.

Gramps,
You might want to contact Tom Todaro with the Tar Heel Club.  He has set up a bunch trips over the past couple of years.  His email is: caribtomt@yahoo.com.  Rick Jaquot's book on collecting sites may also be helpful.  Hope it helps.
