I'm an old rockhound that moved to Ashe County, NC from northern NJ a long time ago. I have collected at many of the classic NJ sites and several places in NC. I live in the very northwest corner of NC. If anyone is in the area, contact me and maybe we could go to a spot or two that I know of or I could show you what I have collected over the years.

Welcome bobrock. My favorite excursions in NC always bring me west. I would love to see some things you are finding in Ashe County. As Laurie said your offer will appeal to many including myself. Perhaps a small group of visitors may be in order soon.
