Another piece of Wake County rutile.

A few weekends ago Joe and I hit a few developments to see what we could find -- lots and lots of dark smoky quartz but no faces.  This was the only thing worth taking home that day.  Now, if only I could remember which development I found it in!!

Good picture and nice find, Scott.
It probably came from where you were thinking.
The black stuff I was talking about from Creedmoor Rd looks
more like graphite.
