Good to hear from you, too, RyanT. And those are some very good pointers. Smiley

Smiley And that is why I love being a rockhound and gemologist: it's like knowing a language that anyone can access but not everyone takes the time to study the Rosetta Stone long enough to be able to translate the language. Which I hope doesn't sound condescending, because there was a time when I thought " a rock is just a rock, big whoopity doo".

I been meaning to do the same. I don’t know where this year is going!

They are all pretty but that 4th one is beyond incredible. I could see that in a art gallery.. not that I go to them lol.

Ryan that’s super cool. I saw a video the other day of some lads that paid for the contents of a mystery room, it had been untouched for decades from the looks, maybe longer. They didn’t seem to find anything that exciting in there but I bet it’s super fun looking! We don’t have anything like that here  Sad

Dude, I don't mean to be a butt, but I bet you have something very similar Smiley For instance, I had a friend in the UK who recently told me "We don't have anything like the estate sales that you guys have" Yeah, they do Smiley I looked up real estate auctions by her, and found dozens of companies, with dozens of listings. Maybe an auction wasn't happening that particular day, but they had them. Granted, the scenarios I've described are rare, you can't just pick the very first listing you see and expect to find a secret chamber in someone's chicken coop that contains the Holy grail, Excalibur, the jewel of the Nile, and the Heart of the Ocean. But I've been going to these things since I've been old enough to hold a hot dog, and rarely have I come home without some little treasure that someone else has overlooked.

Well Dude, that slab has all ready sold. I don't know what the buyer is going to do with it, but it was a very pretty slab. I've got more.

Not that you need to be "rummaging" around looking for rocks in old estates, (might be fun tho), one problem might be what this article is about;
https://separatedbyacommonlanguage.blogspot.com/2007/08/yard-sales-car-boot-sale...

It still takes a lot of research and homework not to make it a big waste of time. I need to work on it more here in this area.
Y'all have a good one! Smiley
