That's pretty cool.  I'll have to try and find a piece of glass, and set up the tripod outside if I can scrounge the motivation!   Shocked

Okay here's my first try at it.  Not even close to the greatness of the Russian expert, but I was still happy I could catch some details.  These flakes were caught on black felt cloth.  I was lucky to get these flakes just before the snow began to turn to sleet for the rest of the evening.  How fun would it be to be able to collect these if they didn't melt or sublimate away.
