Brown Fluorite

I recently purchased a box of a dozen mineral specimens from
an old collector friend in order to be sure to get two of them.
This 3" by 1.5" cluster of brown honey flavored root beer fluorite was one of them.
Just beautiful sharp little cubes and beautiful color.
The price was still on it and the collector paid $ 6.50 for it 25 - 30 yrs ago.

When I first saw it I immediately assumed somewhere in the
Clay Center, Ohio area as a source.
But this color is lighter brown than a lot of the Ohio material,
and the included and associated minerals that cover this piece
make me think more of brown fluorite from the Cave-In Rock District
and more specifically the Minerva Mine, southern Illinois.
But I will have to look into all of that further.

Here are a few more pics of this fine little piece trying to
show the unidentified "included" black mineral.

The piece you have is almost certainly from the Moscona Mine in Asturias, Spain.  This is classic material, with the white dolomite and numerous inclusions.  The Ohio material does not have the transparency, uniformity of color, sharpness, and light honey color characterized by the Moscona specimens.
