and Out Like A Lamb.
Pretty much the way this weekend was.
I am sorry to hear about the folks, like dave, that live just west of Raleigh
in the small areas that got "creamed" by ice Thursday night and Friday.
Those folks without power really needed the warm temperatures of Sat and Sun.
But since we did get a good ground washing rain around here so visibility was good,
and everyone else had gone to Virginia to hunt rocks,
Scott and I decided to do some walking and check out the lay of the land.
We did a lot of walking, and looking, but not a whole lot of finding.
But it was beautiful weather and now, at least, we know there wasn't
anything there instead of having to wonder about it after Rite-Aid goes in.
I didn't take any pictures, just out exploring, but this
nice little one inch by one inch piece of quartz with a patch
of reticulated red rutile was a pretty cool find.
