Shop Talk and Doohickies

I've been trying to stay busy in the work shop lately
and thought I'd post some pics.

Here's a pic of the grinding "polishing" table yesterday and then a couple of close-ups.
Left to right on the table is Tennessee Paint Rock, then a
piece from Graves Mtn, GA with rather large Lazulite crystals,
and a section of a large Stromatalite from Wyoming,(I think).

Here's a pic of the polished Tenn Paint Rock piece
and a pic of some fresh unpolished Paint Rock slabs.

And while we're in Tennessee here are 3 pics of a polished
piece of Puddin'Stone.
Everybody's favorite! Smiley

I found a really cool agate vug in a piece of Rainforest Jasper from Austrailia. Pic 1.
Pic 2 is an African Sahara Jasper doohickie.
Pic 3 is a Copper Ore from Nevada doohickie.
Thanks for looking. Smiley

This old thread looked like a good place to put this.
I believe this agate pendant would qualify as a Doohickie. Smiley
I think I'm going to keep this one for me. Wink

Not sure about the agate. Maybe Montana or Wyoming? But I have seen very similar agates from southern Canada above the lakes somewhere?

Great "shop talk" show and tell. You've got some really cool material to work with. I can see why you spend so much time in the shop. Man those lazulite crystals are massive!  Cheesy
