I was getting ready to carve the turkey and this is what I saw on the shelf. I asked where it came from and my aunt doesn't know. Her husband who is passed away has had it since they were married thought it was amethyst. I thought I wouldn't see a cool piece on turkey day. I would like to have that it my new collection

Nice specimen of fluorite you have there, almost certainly an Illinois piece.
