Went hiking in the mountains

Went for a hike in the mountains; I didn't manage to find anything worth keeping but I had fun. Here are some pics from my adventure.

Decided to go a little further north, didn't find anything here either. I talked with a friend and he said to try the mountain range on the east side of the valley next time. I was limited on time so it will have to wait until next time.

Wow!  Beautiful landscapes and pictures.  You didn't find any specimens but you brought home some great memories, pictures, and inspiration to everyone reading your post.  Thanks!

You don't need to find anything when you've got that to look at!

Sasha,
I've really enjoyed the pictures/stories you have posted.  Looks pretty amazing where you live.  Your son must be having the time of his life, I know I would be!  Thanks

Thanks all! Glad you enjoyed the shots, truth be told, I wasn't that happy with them. I did spend some more time in lightroom getting rid of the haze but didn't want to re-post them. It was pretty hazy when I was down there. Being that these were taken from my trip down to the Eastern Sierras, it will be a bit before I get back down that way.
