river rock enhancement

What are your suggestions out there to make river rock (unakite, blue quartz, granite, etc.) specimens, typically rounded by weathering as clean and then color saturated as possible?  I don't like the glossy look, just very color intense.

After cleaning, Tenax Ager Color Enhancing Sealer will bring out color without a glossy look.

Because of the heavy chemical odor and content, I suggest working with it outside while wearing latex gloves.
