Really cool Joe!  The full name explains the complex intricacies of beautiful slabs but it doesn't exactly roll off your tongue  Smiley.  "Jasper" works for me.

Agreed, Julie. In fact back when I was first finding this stuff and asking around as to what it might be
everyone wanted to call it Jasper. The only reason I can't call it jasper is because most of it is not hard enough.
Jasper is in the quartz family and "most" of this material does not have enough silica to qualify.
