Know this is pretty weak...  While in Ellijay picking up a 4 wheeler from craigslist we meant at the Ellijay fire station house 14.  The station was probably 2 years old by my guess and the area they had cut in to build was loaded with small pieces of mica and quartz.  I did ask of the guy went meant if he knew any areas near by where people collected rocks or if there was recent road construction etc... He gave me the your crazy looks so I dropped it.

Should anyone end up over this direction with time on there hands it might be worth looking around.
