"Rock it" science!

Joe, Bryan, and myself welcomed the heat free overcast day while we hunted for crystals.  Bryan was the only one with luck this day. He found a beautiful smoky crystal and a couple fissures that produced some very nice crystals. Hopefully Bryan will post a picture of his best crystal find once it has been cleaned up. Congrats Bryan!!

Here is the smokey crystal cleaned up -- had trouble with the lighting in the picture so I'm posting one that is with flash and one not.

Also, on the same day, I also found this other nice one, and you will notice some purple at the top!  That didn't show until I cleaned it up, but it's a good sign!
