Welcome to the Board, jimfo, thanks for checking in.
You know I'm beginning to appreciate the perspective of the "chair hound" more and more all the time.
They just keep digging up all of Wake County and I've got to take a look. Wink
We would all like to get into the Hamme sometime, but I don't know if that will ever happen.
I'm not sure about the Blue Wing these days. New owner.
Look forward to seeing some pics of your collection.

Joe

Hello jimfo, welcome to the RHL. Tungsten, agate, and copper secondary minerals from Blue Wing -- great minerals! As Joe said I hope we'll be able to see some of your finds in the future. Glad to have you at RHL.

Been. To some  of the hamme dumps had 10 or so old core/samples couldnt take because of move. Blue. Wing is a dreamtrip. Would like to see some topaz from that area have had some luck in the fallsarea with surface quartz. Know of one quartz and a garnet site off the  switched over to fossils on the coast.
