My friend Richard Palley invited me to surface hunt at a private property, the Gilbert Farm, where smoky quartz crystals, mud included quartz, scepters, rutile, amethyst, and tourmaline have been found. It turned out being a very beautiful Sunday. We found some very nice specimens along with facet grade cutting material. This video takes you along with me on my quest for earths treasures at the Gilbert Farm.

Awesome! Great job on the video.
Pretty darn coool. Field hunting crystals. Facet grade tessins at that!
You were finding a lot of those things, too. Powerful looking place.
Kind of makes you wonder what you could do with a backhoe. Smiley

You didn't see a single arrowhead out there?

No artifacts or flakes. Yeah a backhoe would be nice. There was no visible signs of veins on the surface besides a preponderance of quartz in certain areas.  Any attempt to dig down to in situ was futile. Still I had a great time and it was happy hunting.  Cheesy
