Malawi blue agate

If you google "blue agate" almost every image you see is dyed (fake color) material.  It seems that blue is one of the favorite colors added to agates.  So here is a genuine blue agate geode from Malawi in my collection -- the agate forms a band around the periphery, and the center is made of druzy blue quartz.  To see more images, google "Malawi blue agate".

That's an awesome piece.  Will you be cutting any of it?

No cutting, but I plan to use a Makita stone grinder/polisher to grind off some of the matrix and reveal more of the agate.

Very pretty agate, Victor. Thanks for the pic.
I don't know if you are going to be able to improve it much. Good luck.
