Hey everyone I'm a born and raised Tar Heel, and always looking for crystals! I would love if anyone wants to go hunting sometime.

I am a total amateur and only have experience on a superficial level.  But I love the Hunt and would love to share in the fun with others.

I'm going to attach a picture of one of my favorite finds that I came across while biking in the forest

Welcome to the RHL Micah! Nice crystal cluster there! If not already a member you should try to check out and join the TarHeel Gem & Mineral Club -- http://tarheelclub.org/  They have regularly scheduled field trips to quarries and other dig sites.  You can network with other rockhounds and learn more about places to look. Hope to see more of your finds in the future!
