Can't believe no one has started a thread for one of the most prolific agates in the world yet!
Well here it is.
There is no end to all the possibilities when working this wonderful, plentiful affordable agate.
Just finished this one recently.

Here are some pics of "Big Blue" that I am assuming is a Brazilian.
The bench the pics are taken on is 11" wide and the agate weighs just over 17 lbs. The color is all natural.
Imagine that this is just one quarter of the original nodule!

I've known for years exactly how I want to make a stand for this piece, maybe I'll get around to it yet.
This is an end slab of a Brazilian agate nodule.
55mm round and less than 3mm at it's thickest point.
I need to come up with a name for it and keep coming up with something like "The Portal".
Suggestions are welcome. Smiley

These look awesome! The Brazilian agate nodule reminds me of a Enyalius lizards eye.

Without the cool pattern in the darker area, it reminds of it. Can't see the iris in their eyes. Anyway, it definitely looks like some kind of freakish eye ball.

Well, yes, it is hard to follow a specimen like that, but we must press on. There are thousands of beautiful Brazilian Agates to picture! Wink
I'll try and get the ball rolling with this pretty polished slab I was inspecting recently.
