Best found at this location to date.These are found as loose singles on the ground surface from water action and freeze/thaw, but a little digging has started producing bigger and better xtals.

Just out of curiosity were any of them amethistine,there is a correlation between two separate pegmatite one Baltimore county. The other is just inside Carrol county . Did you all get a report of a smokey /amethyst site in Baltimore county,about two years ago . If not , I  will make a presentation.  Unfortunately the site was a housing  development so not much in the way of access.
