Hi everyone, I'm sorta new to rock hounding my Great Grandfather was teaching me all about rocks and cutting and polishing, and now that he's gone I'm trying to do it all on my own, he left some pretty big shoes to fill, so it's nice to have as much help as people are wiling to give.

Well if you have access to your great grandfather's tools you have a very good head start.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have about anything you want to work on or explore with regards to lapidary work.  Welcome to the RHL Rob!
