The Blue Forest agatized petrified wood site is east of Fontenelle Wyoming and not far from the fossil fish quarries of Kemmerer. But it's a very difficult site to find as it's located in the middle of nowhere. But a local rock shop in Kemmerer, run by a long-time collector, has a large amount of Blue Forest material for sale (and it's not cheap). Here are photos of a few pieces of this top-quality pet. wood in this shop.

The pieces in the top 2 photos were several thousand $ each (I forget the exact amounts).  Maybe next year I will buy a (much) lower cost piece.
