Hello Everyone, my name is Brett B.
Thank you Scott for the add. I'm from Southeast Wisconsin and have been hounding since I was eight years old.  Thanks Grandma for sharing the Rock Pox.  I'm into everything Quartz... Crystal from Arkansas, Agate from Montana and Geodes from Keokuk are just some of my favorites.  I saw Scott's video of his trip to Mt. Ida, Arkansas and had to check out your you tube videos.  Oh my, you have some fantastic crystals there in Raleigh.  Hope you don't mind if I stalk you all from afar.  Again, thanks for the add and I hope to meet in person some day.  Rockhound on!!

Welcome to the RHL Brett B. Everything Quartz is what I'm talking about -- if you haven't already noticed it's my favorite mineral too.  Cheesy  Glad you liked the videos and that it brought you here. Looking forward to seeing some of your favorite pieces posted here sometime. There's a lot to learn, there's no dumb questions so ask away or educate us even.   Wink

Yeah, it's just us Quartz-a-holics here, Brett.
Glad to hear you are monitoring our progress. It helps.
Let us know if there's anything we can do.

Thanks Scott and Joe,
Got to admit I'm a little jealous after seeing your videos.  Having collecting spots "in your backyard" is a dream come true.  I have to drive quite a bit to reach my favorite spots, but don't get me wrong when you see beauty come right out of the ground... it's worth it.  Thanks again for the warm welcome.
