I found this website today and thought I'd share.  It's really neat skull carvings.  I particularly like the agate/amethyst skull.

Very nice. The druse crystal skull on the front page kind of shows how I feel with a migraine.  Grin

I have been meaning to post this for a long time, so I am dredging this thread up.  Grin
So how about this "skull"? It is a little bit bigger than a nickel.
I found it in a creek that I find quite a bit of artifacts, along with jasper and agate, here in East Tennessee. The creek feeds into the Clinch River.
It freaked me out for a few days and almost made me stop hunting altogether thinking about how you might find things you may not want to. You know, like a fertility object or something like that.

Wow that's like a Jason's mask Halloween "skull".  Neat!

I think it looks like a young neolithic lad with a crop of hair on his head and a big smirk. Clean the sand out of his eyes and brush his teeth and he might be kindof cute, in an adolescent goofy sort of way. Wink

Thanks for responses.
Yes a typical 14 year old boy, just wipe his nose too.  Roll Eyes
I thought this thing was super creepy and it really freaked me out for days; so I had to study it for days.
I don't have a microscope, but I am pretty sure it is a complete natural coincidence and not carved at all.
The thing that puzzled me the most was the mouth. It almost looks like it was man made.
