Hello From South Texas

Hello all. Name here is Brad. I have always been fascinated by rocks and fossils and here recently have discovered the road cuts along I -10 headed out to West Texas. Lots of fossil and rock finds every trip. So many that I have started carrying five gallon buckets, shovels, and field tools to help carry my spoils. Honk if you seen anyone on the side climbing around the cuts. It may be me!!

Welcome to the Board, Bradford  Smiley
Glad you found it. You sound like a natural, or should I say "similarly obsessed".
Would love to see some of your finds from down there. Agates and fossils are great.
I don't see how it could be any hotter down there than it is up here right now. Phew! Good Luck!

Welcome Brad. True rockhounds are always prepared and it looks like you fit that bill. Can't wait see some Texas rocks and fossils from your collecting adventures.  The only Texas minerals I've got is a couple of those Midlothian pyrite specimens - they're really neat.
