I've been rockhounding for about a year and a half. I spend most of my time on the Yellowstone river collecting agates, petrified wood, jasper, and other goodies. I'm looking to learn as much as I can, and meet some new people in the process.

Welcome Agate_Angler. I just looked up Yellowstone agates. That's some really nice stuff. I like the manganese dendrites in some of those. Can't wait to see some of the things you've collected.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'd love to post some pictures here soon. In the meantime, I am trying to share some of my outings on youtube. This is my first video. Gives you an idea of scenery as well as some of the typical Yellowstone finds.
