Found this in the shale that was brought in for the driveway and parking areas.

That is some serious chalcedony,  I really like the blue. The last piece looks to have had a metalic mineral of some sort.  I've seen pyrite do that kind of pattern,but I don't think so in this case. It might be another metal based mineral,but don't rule out iron minerals,they seem to have an affinity for quartz minerals.
