Black and brown Bull Quartz maybe?

  I find a lot of this type rock on a hill. It's just too pretty not to pickup exposed pieces. The biggest in the center is a little bigger than a coffee mug.

Yes, I would call that Bull Quartz. Striking and interesting colors, but still just more Bull Quartz.

I'd be curious to see some of those slabbed.  Although it is bull quartz, it's is unusually mixed with contrasting black and brown colors. Neat!

They are very pretty rocks!
I think slabs of this material would be beautiful. I have never seen a Quartz slab in person except for a countertop. I think I'm going to check the pawnshop for a used tile saw.
