Morning venting

Just gotten up and the other half yells "Deer are here". The dog and him went flying out the door. One was inside our fence and the others on the road. Dog finally got fired up and went and chased it. We've started putting up fences to protect the bushes we have invested in. We are putting up a 8 foot high chainlink dog kennel around our fruit trees. They've killed one fruit tree and we've replaced it plus added in one more apple tree.
At least the deer aren't too hard on fences. It's the elk that are hard on fences.

Have been putting up fencing to protect the trees and bushes.
Raining right now so that will help everything for this fall and winter.
Just chasing the bunnies around the yard now. Wild cottontails that is. Might be eating a lot of bunnies later after the first hard frost just to thin them down a little.

We now look like a compound.
Some bushes have netting on them.
Fruit tree one has wire cage plus wire cage.
3 fruit trees have a 6 foot high chainlink dog kennel around them now.
Plus all the cattle panels set up around what we call bush row and my strawberries.  Grin

You're funny. Ice doesn't make much noise for tranquility. Grin
