How ever normal my life can be.
Been so busy with elk hunting since the 10th of this month.
Other half got an elk yesterday. This is a late season cow hunt.
I drove out and walked out to help pack it in.
Also had to pick up a couple of rocks. Grin

Anyway only 4 days left of the season. I won't be hunting the last 4 days.
Between the back and flexor hip muscle I can't hike far right now.

I need to clean up a batch of rocks from a few days ago then will post some pictures of them.

We are just cold. Single digit temps of a night and 30's of a day. No snow down low.  There was just enough snow yesterday that the roll up sled worked great for bringing the meat out. I walked 4.92 miles and only fell twice.  Cheesy

Actually glad I'm done hunting big game for this season.
We had fun hunting grouse this season. The dog loves to hunt them. He has figured out to wind them in the trees now. We've gotten 4 this way now.

I've never had elk or grouse -- would love to someday. Back and hip flexor muscles are pretty important for your hobbies  Wink, hope you are able to rest and recover quickly.

The first move was a scream. Been up for several hours now and slowly the pain is easing up. It'll be a day or two before I feel like I'll live. Wink

Come out and hunt for rocks and I'll cook you a piece of elk. Don't think the grouse will make it till spring. Grin
