Yesterday found Old Lookadoo Gold Mine at Treasure Valley here in Western North Carolina.  The nail or spike is 4" long for reference.

Hey Buckshot, let's see the other side of it but I'm thinking some kind of old drawer pull?

Hey Buckshot, thanks for the other side, but I've got drawer pull stuck on the brain and can't think of anything else. That second picture would be the front where you get your finger under the curve and pull the drawer out. The two holes are to screw it to the front of the drawer. On the old ones I'm thinking of the design area below that could be a rectangle shape where you put a label or something?

Anyway, that's what I was thinking, and I'm stuck there. Huh
Was trying to find a picture of an example, but the internet is about useless for researching anything anymore. If Amazon or Temu don't sell it, you can't find it. Unbelievable! Angry

While I'm ranting let me mention that the unidentified piece of crazed ceramic on your other post may be earthenware instead of stoneware like I first assumed. It makes a big difference as far as tracking it down goes, but Amazon must be out of stock! Sad

Actually, I think that piece is what is called a Finger Pull. Single finger drawer opener and/or sash lifter.  Wink

Thanks for your thoughts guys, I'm still not certain because the clip seems small for a drawer pull.
