Hello, and thank you for having us. After many years of observing the So California desert, my 91-year-old Pop, Matt, and I, Tony, recently started Rockhounding. Yes, we are a bit addicted, and what an excellent way to spend quality time with my Dad and soak in Mother Nature's finest views. We are always up for a rockhounding adventure, so please feel free to reach out.
We look forward to posting some recent finds for insight.

Welcome to the RHL Tony and Matt.  Rockhounding is one of the greatest hobbies there is and I'm glad you have been discovering this with your Pop. You will never learn everything there is to know, but everything you do learn will not only solidify your love of the hobby but make you much more adept at finding whatever rock or mineral you're looking for.  Feel free to post pictures of your finds or ask any questions you may have.
