Fibrous form of Riebeckite is Crocidolite, also known as Blue Asbestos, considered the most hazardous form of Asbestos.

Well, Scott, way down at the very end of that very informative article from Mindat is a picture of "Anthophyllite". I've never heard of it before but I bet we've seen it before in a hole around here somewhere.
Not to mention "Cummingtonite". (Okay, I'll mention it.)

Reading that article and realizing that almost every amphibole also has a fibrous, asbestiform habit, or formation was like a light bulb turning on! It sure makes it easier to understand and process all the different mineral names. Cool
