This is the same rock the sweetgum burr is in, but on the other side. These things are easily missed as small as they are. This burr is a bit more filled out than the other one.

Cool picture.
It could be a couple different things but my first guess would be Churchite, which is on the list of minerals found at Girard. Good Eye!
Search the pictures on this link for more specimens from Girard to compare.

Yeah good eye on finding those burrs. Wow, Churchite does seem to be a good fit considering its found in Girard.  Nice sluething Joe.
