This is a picture of a large geode from Brazil.  I made this photo at one of the outside shows at Tucson this year.  Hope you enjoy. Note the scale..... Cheesy

Wow, that's huge!  I'm not used to seeing geodes from Brazil without amethyst.  Great picture John.

Glad you liked the pic.  Scott  Not lab grown...Joe.  My favorite geode this year was four times this size deep Amethyst with clusters of Calcite up to 2' by2'  in different spots and it had windows on all four sides.  Would take a nice crane to move.  Didn't have my camera that day but the wholesale price was $110,000.00.  Now one would have to build a room around this geode or keep it in a warehouse.
