My Father-in-law has about 20 acres of farmland in Farmville he isn't using. Could you give me an idea on map whereabouts the Simpson farm was? Would love to find out if its close to his property.

Even if the property is right next to a place that has crystals that doesn't mean your 20 acres does,,your best bet is to go to that property look around start scratching the dirt and see if their is any sign of quartz,,if no quartz than no crystals.

Good point, Jay, and good advise.
The hot spots are all too isolated.  Wink

Simpson Farm is in the community of Prospect, VA.
One mile west of Hwy 15 on Hwy 460.

Thanks for the great photo information. Looks like it is shady in some spots? Am hoping to get out there in the next few weeks and was wondering if I should bring the big umbrella?
