So it was Sunday and the boys picked me up and we went out looking for crystals. First stop was a most popular spot in Cary a few years ago. The guys went one way up the hill and I thought well ill just go the other way to be different. Well being different pays off I found a few rocks that caught my eye and started digging around after a few mins I found this little gem
to say the least I was happy !!

The wispy smoky coloration reminds me of crystals I've found at Macedonia. Nice find! Did you guys hit BG as well?

No Scott, we did not make it out to BG. So I haven't been out there
since we were out there last.
BG ought to be worth a look-see this weekend.
Go ahead and check it. I doubt I will be getting out that way.
The above crystal Ryan found is from the Oaks. He found a nice little stringer pocket,
unfortunately most of it was in fractured pieces.
I like the wisps of smoke in this piece, too, and in the right light
it almost has a hint of purple.
