New from Eastern NC

Hey everyone. Thanks for having me. I am originally from New Hanover, but recently moved to Greene County. It has been quite a bit of a change. I am starting to try to teach myself to cut stones and sadly there isn't any rock and gem clubs or anyone who I can hunt down that does lapidary near me. I am determined though. Smiley I look forward to talking with you and gaining some insight. Get ready for progress pictures!

Welcome to the board, lizzy! Glad to have another lapidary.
Yes, it may take you a while to weed out the other lapidaries and rockhounds in Greene County. Wink
Read my reply to aquaelly for all the info I am aware of about clubs and outlets in this area.

Best of luck,
Joe

Welcome Lizzy!  Getting into lapidary gave me a whole new hobby that works perfectly with rockhounding.  You have fun finding the rocks and then a whole different level of fun transforming them into something beautiful.   Grin
