Will a tile saw cut rock??

A tile saw will cut already cut "flat slabs" very well.
You buy the slabs and cut out your cabochon design.
You won't get very far cutting rough odd-shaped rocks.

I have a tile saw and have indeed cut small non-slabbed rocks.  You can do it but they have to be very small.
