Green rocks

Here in southern NM I have seen green rocks for the first time.
Green on outside, white , black , brown, or gray on inside. At least that is what I have found.
But I have also found dark green that are the same color inside and out.
So what does green mean is it weather , mineral , or type?

If you could provide some closer shots and a bit more in focus it will be much easier for us to help identify. The finest details sometimes are the most important in determining what you have.

But based on what I can see it looks like peridot (olivine) which is found in NM.

Yes those rocks are peridot.
If I post more pictures do I only post
one at a time?

You can actually post as many pictures at once as you want.  You just need to click the down arrow button next to the "Attachments" on the bottom left.
