Hey,all, I'm new here. I signed up to get some help identifying a rock I found that shows some regular patterns under UV light. If you're curious you can see it in the identification subforum.
I'm from southeast Michigan, and I'm only an occasional rock collector. I have a small collection of quartz crystals, fossils, and various shiny, pretty stones. Also a collection of small animals carved from stone, though I'm not sure that counts. My daughter is the rock collector and metal detector enthusiast in the family.

Thanks for the intro Ms. Mishi, Welcome!
Of course, stone animals of All sizes count! Would love to see some of them.
Great job and congratulations on your first pictures. It took me several tries to learn how to do that!
Have a great day,
Joe

Welcome to the RHL Mishihari. I recently read that the Lakeport State Park beach is a good place to search for rocks in southeast Michigan. Glad you made it to the forum. Hope to see or identify many more rocks from you or your daughter in the future.
