Happy Birthday Dave!  Smiley
Great gift! Let's start at the beginning... what is the mineral on the cover?

According to the credits in the back, it's prase (quartz) crystals from Serifos, Greece.  Tongue

Well, thank you, dave, for being so kind and not making me guess. Wink
First guess would've been quartz, but the next question would've been what mineral is the green color?  Chlorite, hedenbergite, or actinolite/ And according to Mindat the answer is Actinolite.

Thank you and have hours of fun study! Cool
