Oregon Find #2

My wife's folks (both passed away) spent a lot of time in central Oregon and on the high desert.  They came across this specimen maybe 20 years ago and have carted it around.  It is about 68 pounds (a monster).  It is generally rough except when breaking off small pieces that are smooth and sharp.  I thought initially maybe Obsidian but now not sure.  We are down-sizing, so may be selling some of these to someone close by in Oregon with more room and greater passion.  Thoughts?

It could be some other volcanic rock but this looks like a piece of 'ashy' and a bit weathered low grade obsidian. Can't cut it, can't knap it, so it pretty much is what it is. A Specimen.
But someone from Oregon may have a different view of it.
