We were melted out and snow free yesterday afternoon. Got up to 45* and such a nice day.
Got up to 2" of snow and still snowing. Heavy wet type stuff and it's up to 3". Snow is getting lighter and smaller flakes.

I really don't like pineapple expresses! Angry

Yes, what a difference a day makes. 45* would feel pretty good, tho.
I doubt you're thru with winter yet, or pineapple expresses, so I think patience is going to be your biggest asset for the next month...........or two.

Gee, I don't really feel like teeing it up tomorrow. Might just go out to the range and hit a bucket of balls. Roll Eyes

You two are so funny. NOT!
24 hours of snow and still snowing.
Another 4" on top of the 3" from yesterday morning.
Now we go into the single digits of a night.
I guess it beats 90 degrees and smoke filled air.
Several hours of plowing coming this morning.

Other half took a nice walk a couple days back and brought in one nice agate before all this snow hit. Actually 3 rocks but one real nice one. Grin

What an odd way to pass the time.. fill a bucket with balls and then hit it?   Roll Eyes I can think of much more enjoyable ways to pass the time Grin

Spent 3 hours on the tractor plowing. Plowed the neighbors out and us.
Other half went and plowed out 2 other neighbors.
The snow has so much water in it if you walk on the water just runs out of it. A nice change. Usually our snow is so dry it looks like sugar.

It really puts in perspective how good we have it with rockhounding here not having to deal with snow. Very nice of you to dig out your neighbors. Hopefully it's the last of the snow for you so we can start seeing your great finds again!  Grin

Husband found 3 rocks just the day before all the snow started.
One real nice agate.
All is good. Was getting excited for warm temps and bare ground.
This is the most snow/moisture we've had all winter actually.

Our region is only 79% of normal we should be 100% or better right now.
Still mean a shortage of run off water to fill reservoirs for irrigation.

Still beats living in the Boise valley area with the crowds warm temps and grass greening up right now. Grin

Well everything had melted out yesterday except for thicker piles of snow in the parking area. Sure was nice to walk on dirt.

We had an inch an hour snow over night. 3" of fresh snow this morning.
Got up a couple of times in the night and have never seen it snow like it was since we've moved here.
Going to have a good mud season here this spring. It might last a couple of weeks now. Wink
