More colorful granite

The stone in the first 3 photos was about a foot long and 6 inches wide, I cut this small piece off to see what it looked inside. It was mostly green with streaks of pink. The second stone has some really cool looking red that shows up in it.

The piece in your last picture looks like granite, but because of all the green Epidote in your first piece it might be an "Epidosite".

Thanks for the link. I found a lot of green minerals out there and I do think you're right about it being epidote. I found one piece that some believe, it was trying to morph into something else. I'll see if I can find it and post the photos.

Yes, the green is epidote. And if your rock had more orthoclase feldspar it might be considered Unakite.
